About Rule Pile

Rule Pile is a fast sorting puzzle made for Arena13. Swipe each card left or right, but every five cards a new rule lands on the pile and overrides the ones below it, so red might go left until circles, stars or even numbers say otherwise. Play the free daily run, the same for everyone, or go endless. It runs in your browser on phone and desktop, with no download or sign-up needed.

Controls
Touch: swipe the card or tap the left or right half. Mouse: click a side or drag the card. Keyboard: Left and Right arrow keys (or A and D).
Length
2 min per round

Tips

  1. Read the pile from the top down: the first rule that fits the card decides, so you can stop there.
  2. "Other way" rules flip the answer from the rules below them. Work out that answer first, then flip it.
  3. When you miss, the result card shows which rule decided it. Learn that rule before you try again.
