About Lane Ten

Lane Ten is a free sports game you play in your browser on phone or desktop, with no download. It is ten-pin bowling with real scoring: ten frames, strikes and spares that carry into the next frame, and bonus balls in the tenth, so a perfect game is 300. Flick up the lane to bowl; the speed of the flick sets the pace and a curve in the flick puts hook on the ball, which is how you reach the pocket between the head pin and its neighbour. The lane has its own slight drift each day, the same for everyone, so you read it and adjust. Pins knock each other over, and the frame strip across the top keeps the score. Your best stays in this browser. Made for Arena13.

Tips

  1. Aim for the pocket, not the head pin. A ball that hits the front pin square leaves the corners standing.
  2. Hook the ball in from the side: start it near the edge and curve the flick toward the middle.
  3. Spares are worth chasing. Ten plus the next ball beats an open frame every time.
